1. Who we are

Belay is a team-intelligence platform operated by dlivr ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use belay.team and the Belay application (collectively, the "Service").

2. What we collect

We collect three categories of information:

• Account information — name, email, organization, role. Provided when you sign up.
• Service data — content you and your team members create in Belay: survey responses, coaching observations, action items, and (when integrated) delivery metrics from connected tools.
• Usage data — log data, device/browser information, IP address, and aggregated product analytics used to improve the Service.

3. How we use it

We use information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to communicate with you about your account; to process payments; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Survey response anonymity

Survey responses submitted via shared anonymous links are not associated with individual respondents in our systems. Coaches and admins see aggregated team-level data only. Tenant administrators may further enable team-name anonymization, surfacing teams as letters (Team A, Team B) to specific roles.

5. How we share it

We share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate Belay (e.g., hosting, payment processing, email delivery), bound by confidentiality and use-limitation terms.
• Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and limited analytics cookies to understand product usage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for marketing purposes.

7. Data retention

We retain service data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days for restoration, then permanently deleted within 90 days unless we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; to object to or restrict processing; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us at the address below to exercise these rights.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS in transit, encryption at rest, strict tenant isolation, role-based access control, audit logging, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; we work continuously to reduce risk.

10. International transfers

Belay is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Children's privacy

Belay is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice with at least 30 days' notice before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
